The sealing device for sealing a ring-shaped gap between a bearing housing (1) and a shaft (2) within it has ring-shaped outer (5) and inner parts (6), which are fixed in a sealed manner on the housing and on the shaft. The outer and inner parts are rotatable relatively to one another and are reciprocally sealed by means of sealing lips (7,8,9). The outer part has an outer ring-shaped part (13a), an inner ring-shaped part (13b) and a ring-shaped connecting part (13c) between them. The connecting part permits relative axial displacement between the inner and outer parts. Also provided is a bearing ring (22) placed between a bearing surface (25,26) on the inner part and a bearing surface (24) on the inner part of the outer part. This promotes a relative axial movement of the shaft in one direction. |
