The invention concerns a device comprising: a belt (1) designed to enclose the patient's waist; two rigid support elements (2), comprising each a longitudinal part (4) equipped at one end with a preferably curved part (5) whereon the patient can be supported through one arm pit; on the belt (1) in opposite lateral positions relative to the patient's body, two members (6) integral with said belt and comprising each a cylindrical housing (7) for removably receiving the corresponding end of the longitudinal part (4) of a support element (5) said housing (7) being so designed that a force exerted on the support element should be supported by the corresponding member (6) and consequently by the belt (1). |
