PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a mounting part for mounting a part on an interior trim material for automobile capable of increasing a mounting rigidity without impairing a mounting property of an engagement pawl by elasticity. SOLUTION: When an engagement pawl 7 installed on a mounting part 4 is engaged by elastically deforming while allowing to abut on an area in order from one end side to the other end side and the mounting part 4 is installed on the door trim 1 after a mounting hole 5 is provided in the arm rest part 2 of a door trim 1 at the specified position of a shelf part, and a hooking piece 6 installed on the mounting part 4 such as a switch cover is hooked to the mounting hole 5, a retaining rim part 8 is formed at the other end side rear part of the engagement pawl 7 for limiting the elastic deformation of the engagement pawl 7. When the mounting part 4 is installed on the door trim 1, one end side of the engagement pawl 7 is elastically deformed easily, and the mounting rigidity of the other end side is increased by the retaining rib part 8.
