PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an ink jet recording head wherein a cross section area of an ejection nozzle (an orifice) can be attained in the high density nozzle distribution without lowering the ejection efficiency and making bubbling instable in terms of the ink jet recording head of which the ejection nozzle is processed by a laser light. SOLUTION: There is disclosed the method of manufacturing the ink jet recording head wherein a top plate 4 having the ink ejection nozzle 5 processed by an optical processing means such as the laser light and a recessed section 3 communicating with the ejection nozzle 5 is bonded with a substrate 1 having a heater 2 (an ejection heater) for heating to eject ink. A width of a laser hole making emission section 11a for forming the ejection nozzle 5 is greater than the width of the recessed section 3.
