PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card case which enable a user to carry a card without creasing and wrinkling and to open the lid by one touch for taking out a card. SOLUTION: This portable card case is equipped with a rectangular parallelopiped type outer box 1 with the opened upper end and an operating opening part at the lower end, and an inner box 2 with the open upper end, which is slidably inserted into the outer box 1 and can store a desired number of cards. A pair of right and left lid pieces 3, 3 rotatably equipped so as to outward bend the base part, guide pieces 4, 4 upward projected placed inside the side face parts of the lid pieces so as to be guides upon opening/closing the lid pieces, and working pieces 5, 5 equipped on the base parts of the lid pieces are provided on both ends of the upper end opening part of the inner box 2. The working pieces 5, 5 have projected parts 9 positioned and slid in between the upper stopper 11 and the lower stopper 12 formed in the vertical direction on the inner face of the end face part of the outer box 1. When the inner box 2 is pushed up and the projected part 9 abuts on the upper stopper 11, the base parts of the lid pieces 3, 3 are outward drawn to turn by the working pieces 5, 5 so as to open the upper end of the inner box 2.
