PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter solving the problem that, conventionally, a seedling row separatory mechanism, an individual seedling separatory feed mechanism and a seedling planting mechanism, each being a component of a transplanting unit, have been relatively densely set together in the vertical and lateral directions, causing necessarily a difficulty in cleaning them or in their maintenance. SOLUTION: This seedling transplanter has such a construction that the front end of a seedling planting mechanism (m) is turnably borne on and linked with the front side frame 3 of a transplanter chassis (c), which, in turn, is mounted with (1) a seedling row separatory mechanism (h) for separating seedlings in rows from a bundled seedling group and (2) an individual seedling separatory feed mechanism (k) comprising a seedling row horizontality conveyor 30 for conveying the seedlings in rows fed from the mechanism (h) to an individually separating section 29, an individual seedling separatory conveyor 32 for separating the seedlings, under conveyance, individually separated at the section 29 into good seedlings and defective seedlings and conveying only the good seedlings, and a vertical nipping conveyor 31 for delivering the good seedlings to a planting wheel 38, so as to arrange the two mechanisms (h) and (k) vertically, wherein the mechanism (h) is mounted so as to be movable left and right.
