The invention relates to a device for actuating a lock on a door of a motor vehicle. Said device comprises a pull handle (30), which is mounted at one end so that it can pivot and has an extension arm on the other end. The extension arm extends in the pulling direction of the handle (30) and during the pulling motion interacts with the primary member (16), causing the door to be closed. To provide the handle (30) with electric switching functions for securing the lock, the extension arm is divided into two sections (43, 44) that can be displaced in opposition to one another and are interconnected by a propelling guide (45). The two sections (43, 44) are spring-loaded in relation to one another (62), but are held in a maximum propelled position by end stops (38, 58). The pulling end (32) of the handle (30) acts as a pressure actuation element between the two sections (43, 44) as a result of the spring-loaded (62) propelling guide (45). If a pressure actuation point (51) of a switch (50) is provided between the two sections (43, 44) of the extension arm, said point is actuated when pressure is exerted (34), thus triggering the desired function in the motor vehicle. |
