PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser depilation apparatus for automatically perform a laser depilating treatment and to provide a laser depilation method. SOLUTION: The laser depilation apparatus is provided with a laser irradiating part 23 for irradiating a laser beam, a CCD camera 22 for picking up the image of the surface of skin, a movement mechanism 24 for changing a laser irradiating position concerning the skin surface by moving the laser irradiating part 23, an image processing part for recognizing the position of body hair by processing the image of the skin surface picked-up by the CCD camera and a control part for controlling the movement mechanism 24 based on the position of body hair recognized by the image processing part to irradiate a body hair part with the laser beam. |
