PURPOSE:To easily reproduce colors faithful to source pictures by reducing manual operation. CONSTITUTION:In a picture processor for performing color conversion and the color correction of color distortion due to device characteristics using all display expression colors, a data storage part 7A for display for storing data for the display (the level values of expression colors), a colorimetry data storage part 8A for storing colorimetry data, a color conversion processing part 16 for generating color values for all other display expressible colors using the colorimetry data and also performing the color conversion to an evaluation color space using the color values and all the level, values of the display expression colors, a color correction data generation part 17 for generating color correction data using evaluation color value data and the data for the display and a color conversion/correction part 14A for performing the color conversion and the color correction for the data for the display using the color correction data. |
