PURPOSE:To prevent the local partial abrasion of a double feed preventing member for preventing the double feed of sheets with a paper refeeding roller. CONSTITUTION:A paper refeeding roller 32 for refeeding sheets after image formation stocked on a middle tray 23, and a double-feed preventing member 28 for preventing the double feed of the sheets at the time of paper refeeding by the refeed roller 32 are provided. The paper refeeding roller 32 is laid along the double-feed preventing member 28 in the state where it is in contact with the double-feed preventing member 28 at the time of paper refeeding in such a manner as to be position-changeable, so that the nipping position of the paper refeeding roller 32 to the double-feed preventing member 28 is changed in accordance with the refeeding of the sheets stocked on the middle tray. |
