PURPOSE: A trunk lid locking device of a vehicle is provided to prevent the breakage of a trunk lid and the articles in the trunk by upward and downward moving a lift bar and restraining the displacement of the trunk lid. CONSTITUTION: A trunk lid locking device of a vehicle comprises a striker fixed on a rear end panel for defining the rear wall of a trunk, a guide rail(22) fixed on the rear wall of the trunk lid, a lift bar(24) combined to the guide rail and moving upward and downward along the guide rail, a locker(25) fixed on the lift bar and combined with the striker to maintain the locked state of the trunk lid, an unlocking unit to separate the striker from the locker, and a lift bar fixing unit. When a large article is received in the trunk, the lift bar is moved downward. Thereafter, a fixing pin(33) of the fixing unit is engaged with a gear(24a) of the lift bar. Thus, the lift bar is fixed, and the locker is lifted down. Therefore, the trunk lid is not displaced even in the open state.
