PURPOSE: A device for gathering foreign matters for a washing machine is provided to improve a filtering performance of foreign matters contained in wash water circulated on a circulation duct even though being used for a long time, and to automatically discharge filtered foreign matters to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A device for gathering foreign matters for a washing machine includes an incoming drainage duct(11a) connected with an outer tub, a discharging drainage duct(11b) connected to a drainage valve, a circulation duct(15) connected to a circulation pump, and a body(110) of a predetermined size. The body filters foreign matters contained in wash water circulated during the washing and rinsing strokes. During the dehydrating stroke, the foreign matters are automatically discharged with wash water discharged to the outside. |
