The invention concerns the use of an efficient amount of a first polymer having average mole weight less than 100000, comprising: a) a polymeric skeleton, having repeat hydrocarbon units provided with at least a heteroatom, and optionally b) at least a pendent fatty chain and/or at least a terminal fatty chain optionally functionalised, having 6 to 120 carbon atoms and being bound to said hydrocarbon units, in a make-up composition comprising in a physiologically acceptable medium containing a fatty phase, as agent for increasing make-up rapidity on keratinous materials and/or for increasing adhesion on said keratinous materials and/or for increasing make-up firmness deposited on keratinous materials.
