The procedure consists of making a one-piece solid plastic inner layer (5) by rotomoulding and coating it with an outer layer of spray-on thermo-setting resin (6), optionally followed by or simultaneously with glass fibres (7), and then a top coat (8). Connecting inserts are embedded in the inner layer during its manufacture; the inner layer is transported between different work stations, and the completed tank is subjected to polymerisation by stoving.
