PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise tracking and management system and its tracking and managing method which consistently track merchandise from delivery to discarding and manage merchandise location. SOLUTION: In this merchandise tracking and management system 20, the merchandise is tracked and managed between a data management center 24 and a user terminal 30 utilized by a user who receives merchandise supply. The management center 24 is provided with a data server 25 for storing/ managing various data. In the user terminal 30, data such as the state of merchandise with a radio tag attached thereto and its user are made to correspond to a consecutive number outputted from the radio tag, and the corresponded data are given to the management center 24 through the Internet, etc., to be stored in the database server 25. New data are stored in the database server 25 involved in the change of the state, the user, etc., thus the merchandise can be tracked and managed. |
