PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin coated wire which does not generate harmful halogen gas when burned and can keep its shape in a high temperature atmosphere while maintaining features required for a wire used for motor vehicles. SOLUTION: This insulated wire is a wire coated with the inner layer consisting of polyolefin resin composition and the outer layer consisting of polyamide resin. The polyolefin resin composition contains 30 to 90 mass ratio of propylene polymer, 5 to 50 mass ratio of ethylene copolymer that contains oxygen atoms in the molecules, 5 to 50 mass ratio of styrene elastomer or styrene elastomer denatured by 0.1 to 10 mass % of unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, and 30 to 250 mass ratio of metal hydroxide for 100 mass ratio of total amount of the above-mentioned 3 ingredients. |
