PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that suppresses traffic of a network and can store a desired image at a remote place with high resolution without taking much communication time. SOLUTION: The image storage system is characterized in that it has a control means that transmits an image picked up by a video camera and having a first resolution to a client terminal and stores an image designated by the client terminal and having a second resolution higher than the first resolution to a storage device.
