PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of accurately finely adjusting the attaching position of an optical unit and obtaining a high-quality image. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with plural process cartridges having at least a photoreceptor drum, plural optical units 20 having an optical system for forming an image by irradiating the plural respective photoreceptor drums with light, and an optical stay 100 supporting the plurality optical units 20 in a device main body. In the device, the optical unit 20 is positionally adjusted on the optical stay 100. Then, the optical unit 20 is positionally adjusted without being influenced by the flatness of the optical stay 100 by making receiving plates 300a and 300b for correcting the flatness of the supporting surface of the optical stay 100 intervene between the optical unit 20 and the supporting surface of the optical stay 100.
