PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing an infinitesimal amount of ions capable of highly sensitively analyzing ions of approximately a few ppt in ultrapure water. SOLUTION: A sample to be analyzed is made to flow through a concentrating column, and impurity ions contained in the same sample to be analyzed is concentrated into the two levels of a high level and a low level by the concentrating column (S1 and S3). An eluting solvent is made to flow through the concentrating column to extract each level of the impurity ions, and the extracted impurity ions are each detected by a detector to obtain chromatograms (S2 and S4). Chromatogram difference processing for computing the difference between the obtained chromatograms is performed (S5).
