PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a recognition operation having to be restarted from the beginning, when a voice-recognition processing operation fails three times and when, especially the processing operation fails in the final hierarchy, all operations up to that time are canceled. SOLUTION: Display items, based on a plurality of hierarchies for retrieval, are the same for a navigation mode and a voice recognition mode. An item, which is displayed on a display screen in a retrieval processing operation by the voice recognition mode, is input by voice. When the voice recognition processing operation fails, it is changed over to the navigating mode by an operation from a remote control part, and the retrieval processing operation can be continued from the display screen at this time point. |
