PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to easily cut discharge photographic paper between the image formed nearest its end and the end even if the operator does not carry out measurement work of a cutting position by spending time and labor while preventing the surplus part inclusive of a paper end from being failure in conveyance. SOLUTION: An optical sensor 2 detects the paper end of the photographic paper and announces a control section 1 of the same. The control section 1 controls a cutter 34 in such a manner that the photographic paper is not cut between the image to be printed at the nearest portion of the paper end and the paper end. An image processing section 5 of the control section 1 processes image data in such a manner that a cutting line is printed in the desired position between the image to be printed nearest the paper end and the paper end.
