PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave radiation suppression method where a user needs not to apply or interrupt power through its manual operation and to provide a charging method for a mobile phone where the user positively suppresses emission of a radio wave at a place in which it is required to suppress the radio wave emitted from the mobile phone. SOLUTION: In the mobile phone system that has the mobile phone and a radio wave suppression device that suppresses emission of the radio wave from the mobile phone, the radio wave suppression device is provided with a suppression information storage section 11 that stores radio wave suppression information to urge suppression of emission of a radio wave to the mobile phone 2 and a suppression information transmission section 12 that transmits the radio wave suppression information to the mobile phone. The mobile phone 2 is provided with a transmission reception section 21 that receives the radio wave suppression information sent from the radio wave suppression device 1, a radio wave transmission control section 22 that suppresses emission of a radio wave when receiving the radio wave suppression information, a charging auxiliary information generating section 24 that generates charging auxiliary information as history information by using the radio wave suppression information and a radio wave suppression time, and a charging auxiliary information storage section 25 that stores the generated charging auxiliary information.
