Tracked electrically driven seat with stair climbing ability, has seat angle stabilizer using inertia flywheel

The seat subassembly (seat, seat back, footrest) is fitted in a non fixed way to a chassis which has a stabilizer using an inertia system. The inertia system is composed of an inertia flywheel and its electric motor drive which is directly fixed to the chassis. The system is fixed in a casing fitted on the seat by two frames which can move around perpendicular axes and can be actuated by an electric motor reduction gear. The vehicle has an electronic controller using data from angular sensors to control the speed of the movable frame motor reducers. At least one of the variable geometry track rollers is fixed to a movable arm which allows it to move in a controlled way from stretched to compact positions. The track has a tension roller fitted with sensors which allow the electronic controller to control track tension as a function of terrain crossed.
