METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING GENUINE RESISTANCE OF BATTERY FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a genuine resistance of a battery to be measured even under use of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A terminal voltage and a discharge current of the battery mounted on the vehicle are measured periodically by a voltage.current measuring means 23a-1 when the discharge current flows in a load mounted on the vehicle. A variation calculating means 23a-2 finds variations per unit time of the terminal voltage and the discharge current based on the terminal voltage and the discharge current obtained by the voltage.current measuring means when the discharge current increasing suddenly upto a prescribed value or more flows during a prescribed period. A dividing means 23a-3 divides the variation of the terminal voltage found by the variation calculating means by the variation of the discharge current. A value found by the dividing means is measured as the genuine resistance of the battery.
