PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying unit suitable for producing fishery products or drying washing in a limited space in which ventilation is improved while saving the labor and uniform drying in the sun is ensured while preventing damage due to attack by cat, dog, bird, fly, and the like. SOLUTION: A longitudinal shaft rotating through a driver is fixed with a ring rotating about the longitudinal shaft simultaneously therewith and suspenders, e.g. hooks, for suspending articles being dried are fixed to the ring in the circumferential direction wherein rotational speed of the ring can be regulated. Since ventilation and sunshine are made uniform, fishes and shellfishes are dried quickly such that no smelling of fish is generated and tasty fishery products can be obtained. Fishes and shellfishes can be dried conveniently without hindering other jobs, e.g. housekeeping, and troublesome countermeasures against attack by cat, dog, bird, fly, and the like, is not required. Furthermore, netting is not required nor a large space is required and washing can also be dried conveniently.
