PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glare-proof film having both satisfactory glare proofing property and satisfactory adhesion to the base only by forming a glare-proof hard coat layer on a triacetylcellulose transparent base, to provide a glare-proof film also having antireflection ability by further disposing a low refractive index layer and to provide a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display each using the above film. SOLUTION: The glare-proof film has one or more hard coat layers including a glare-proof hard coat layer on a triacetylcellulose transparent base and optionally has a low refractive index layer on the hard coat layers. The hard coat layer brought into contact with the triacetylcellulose transparent base is formed from a coating liquid using a solvent comprising one or more solvents which dissolve the base and one or more solvents which do not dissolve the base.
