PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic music system which has its constitution simplified and its operation made easy by diversifying the functions of operation elements by providing a mode switching button and a display unit in common to multiple operation elements. SOLUTION: This electronic music system is characterized by that operation elements (DL1 to DL8 etc.), on a console panel where parameter setting functions are assigned can be operated in multiple modes. In the case where those operation elements are operated when a 1st mode (normal mode) is set, the set values of sound source parameters are varied corresponding to the manipulated variables of the corresponding operation elements. In the case where the operation elements are operated when a 2nd mode (ShowValue mode) is specified, the current parameter set values are displayed on the display unit Sa without varying the set values of the corresponding parameters. When the operation elements are operated while a 3rd mode (OriginalValue mode) is specified, the initial set values of the parameters are displayed on the display unit Sa without varying the set values of the corresponding parameters.
