摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust a musical tone generated by an electronic musical instrument so that the musical tone reaching the ears of a listener is the same even in different playing environment. SOLUTION: A CPU 106 analyzes digital data of the musical tone obtained through microphones 20a, 20b and 20c and an A/D converting circuit 105, to measure acoustic characteristics of the musical tone generated by the electronic musical instrument 10. Then adjustment value data for adjusting the pitch, envelope, etc., of a musical tone signal so that the measured acoustic characteristic data match with reference acoustic characteristic data registered in a memory 104 or on a storage medium 120 are generated and stored in the memory 104. When the electronic musical instrument 10 is played, the CPU 106 adjusts the musical sound signal generated by a sound source part 109 by using the adjustment value data and makes the electronic musical instrument 10 generate the musical tone based upon the musical tone signal.
