PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for a vehicle controller which can efficiently and precisely position a housing member. SOLUTION: Round projections 2b (1st projection) and 2c (2nd projection), which project toward the top source 2a of a bottom plate 2 (1st member) are formed at prescribed positions of the bottom plate 2, corresponding to a longitudinal partition plate 6 (2nd member) at an internal of size L, while the longitudinal partition plate 6, has a round hole 6b (1st hole), which engages with one projection 2b and a long circular hole 6c (2nd hole), which is positioned in Y direction and allows prescribed-quantity variation in X direction, by engaging the 2nd projection 2c, at an interval of size L to the round hole 6b.
