PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin handling device surely delivering coins at high speed. SOLUTION: This coin handling device is so constituted that a delivery retaining part 21 having a passage 22 bent downward from an approximately horizontal direction, or the axial direction of a storage 7 by approximately 90 deg. is disposed in a position opposed to the tip of the rotary storage 7, plural coins 10 erectly aligned in the storage 7 are horizontally collected by the empty weight, and the lowermost coin is pushed out and delivered from the delivery retaining part 21 one by one by a delivery claw 24. In the delivery waiting state, the plural coins are constantly aligned horizontally in the delivery retaining part 21 by the empty weight and they are stably aligned irrelevant to the number of the stored coins so that the delivery by the delivery claw 24 is stabilized to enable the high-speed delivery.
