PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a revised drawing in drawing management for parts. SOLUTION: A device is provided with a database where CAD drawing data is stored, a representative drawing setting means, and a representative drawing storage means which stores representative drawings set by the representative drawing setting means in the database in relation to parts. The representative drawing setting means accepts list information and set one drawing as a representative drawing in the case that only this drawing constitutes parts represented by accepted list information, and if plural drawings constitute parts, the means generates a cover drawing, where a list including drawing numbers unequivocally prescribing a plurality of drawings is described, and sets this cover drawing as a representative drawing. The same revision numbers as parts are added as revision numbers of representative drawings, and independent revision numbers can be added to drawings described in the representative drawing in the case of plural drawings. A means is provided which changes list contents described in representative drawings or cover drawings in accordance with an inquiry means.
