PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone system capable of realizing information transmission by a call originator as a practicable service by registering an opposite party to transmit call originator information to the side of a company in advance and charging for it. SOLUTION: The call originator information and the transmitting destination of call originator information (the number of a telephone set 3 on a call- incoming side) are stored in advance in a call-originator information storage part 23 in a telephone set 1 on a call originating side. Company equipment 2 stores the telephone number of the transmitting destination of the call originator information (the number of the telephone set 3 on a call-incoming side) registered coordinated with the number of the set 1 in advance. When the set 1 calls to the set 3, the equipment 2 transmits the call originator information to display it on the set 3 and charges for this information transmission by the call originator.
