PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that is configured so that a specific part is segmented from one original to correctly record the segmented part to a recording medium. SOLUTION: An image segmentation section 21e provided on a read section 21 segments and reads a part of an original within a mark described on the original. An image size recognition section 21f calculates a maximum longitudinal lateral size in the read original image, and calculates and determines a center position of the original on the basis of the longitudinal lateral size. A magnification factor setting section 21g compares a size of the recording medium (recording paper) with the size of the read original image and matches the center position of the read original image with the center position of the recording medium, and then sets a magnification factor depending on the difference between the longitudinal lateral size of the read original image and the longitudinal lateral size of the recording medium. An image rotating section 21h rotates the original image at a prescribed angle. |
