PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner carrier useful in a one-component developing system. SOLUTION: The toner carrier is used for feeding a toner fed to the surface of the carrier and formed into a uniform thin toner layer by a layer thickness regulating member to an electrostatic latent image part. The peripheral surface of the toner carrier is formed with a surface layer containing at least a polyvinyl acetal, electrically conductive metal oxide particles and a quaternary ammonium salt group-containing copolymer and having <=1013Ω.cm volume resistivity. |
