PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compress a font save capacity by decomposing the characters expressed by using fonts into parts and sharing the decomposed parts among the characters. SOLUTION: The characters 10 expressed by using the fonts are decomposed into parts 11, 12 and 13 and the kind information indicating the kinds of the respective parts and sizes, rotation and positions of the respective parts are changed and are previously saved, thereby, the conversion information for restoring the characters 10 is previously provided. The save capacity of the character groups is compressed by sharing the decomposed parts 11, 12 and 13 among the plurality of characters.
