PURPOSE: To provide a mounting structure of a base board for a card connector without exfoliation of a solder connection part of a tine of a contact, even if a big outer force is added to the connector, with high electric reliability. CONSTITUTION: A card connector has a housing 2, a contact, and a nut 40. A mounting part 12 of the housing 2 is put on a base board 100, and fixed to a nut 40 by screwing a bolt 54 inserted from base board 100 side. As there is no gap between the nut 40 and the housing 2 nor between the bolt 54 and the nut 40, there is no position shift between the base board 100 and the housing 2, even if a lateral outer force is added to the housing 2. As the top end 54 of the nut 40 locates at the neighboring area of the base board 100, a force of shearing the axis 60 of the bolt 54, rather than a force of bending the axis, is added, therefore, the drag force opposing to the outer force is very large, and the card connector hardly deforms.
