PURPOSE: A switch apparatus for processing a malicious call and an operation method therefor are provided to output a caller ID by the malicious call through a designated path, and hear, record, or store communication content by the malicious call. CONSTITUTION: An operator terminal of a switch judges whether one type is previously set among the first type(TYPE 1) for tracing only caller ID of a caller terminal, the second type(TYPE 2) for tracing the caller ID to a specific caller terminal and simultaneously monitoring communication content, and the third type(TYPE 3) for tracing caller IDs to all caller terminals and simultaneously monitoring communication content(S110). In the case of simultaneously tracing and monitoring the caller IDs, it is judged whether the third path designated for the monitoring is connected(S130). Paths of a callee terminal, the caller terminal, and a monitoring terminal connected to the third path connect each other so that a conference call path is assigned in a monitoring resource by the control of an operator terminal, and monitoring resources are assigned(S140). The caller ID of the corresponding caller terminal and corresponding call information are outputted to the monitoring terminal and the operator terminal, and the monitoring terminal blocks a transmission path and outputs a communication signal between the caller terminal and the callee terminal(S150).
