PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of trouble on information processing equipment on which either a secondary battery pack or a fuel cell is selectively mounted to be used as a power source independently of user's decision. SOLUTION: On the main body unit 11 of a notebook PC10, a mounting part 10 on which either the secondary battery pack P1 or the fuel cell P2 is selectively mounted is formed. On the mounting part 15, an identification means 41 for identifying which of the secondary battery pack P1 or the fuel cell P2 is mounted on is disposed. A power source 21 incorporates a power source microcomputer 21 that, if the identification means 41 identifies the fuel cell pack P2, functions as a switching means for switching the operation mode to the fuel cell mode unlike the normal mode. |
