PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem rotating electric machine including a Lundell-type rotor which can easily improve the reduction in total size, vibration-proof characteristics and cooling properties. SOLUTION: A central cooling air blowing hole 15 is provided to a housing in the location of the external side of the diameter direction within a gap, in the axial direction between a pair of right and left stator cores 21, 31. Blowing fans 25, 35, provided at rotor cores 23, 33, blow cooling air in the axial direction through the gap between pawl-type magnetic poles of the rotor cores and this cooling air is discharged to the external side from the central cooling air-blowing hole 15.
