PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convergence measurement instrument that can calculate mis-convergence of a color picture tube with high accuracy in a short time. SOLUTION: The convergence measurement device is provided with a convergence adjustment pattern signal generating section 6 that generates a convergence adjustment pattern televised on a screen of the color picture tube 12, an image pickup device 2 that picks up an image of the convergence adjustment pattern displayed on the screen 12 of the color picture tube 13, an image processing interface 3 that converts an image signal of the picked-up convergence adjustment pattern into digital image data, and an arithmetic unit 5 that calculates a value or mis-convergence from the digital image data, and the convergence adjustment pattern consists of green spots, and at least one set of red and blue spots, and the display positions of each of the red, green and blue spots are separated by non-luminous areas.
