PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network device setting alteration system and method capable of efficiently realizing a setting altering work by performing the setting change of a plural devices in correct order. SOLUTION: This network device setting alteration system equipped with a computer capable of altering the setting information of a plural of target network devices arranged in a computer network with their connections to the computer network and network device control means is provided with a connection route retrieving means for retrieving a connection route in the computer network, and for generating a changed route based on the connecting state of the network connection of a setting change executer and the network connection interposed with the target network devices.
