PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner from being leaked from a waste toner container at the time of attaching/detaching operation of the waste toner container without impairing the attaching performance of the waste toner container nor building up large stress on the waste toner container and a pipe even after attaching the waste toner container. SOLUTION: An opening/closing cover 46 pressed and opened by the tip part of the pipe 22 when the pipe 22 is inserted in the toner recovery port 10 of the waste toner container and closed when the pipe is pulled out is provided in a state where it is always energized in a closing direction by a spring 48. An abutting start position 46a where the pipe starts abutting when the pipe is inserted and an abutting completion position 46b at the time when the pipe completes abutting are not set on the same plane, and the abutting start position is biased to be close to the pipe side. Or the shape of the tip part of the pipe is made to be a shape obtained by removing the inner angular part 22d of the intersection of a vertical line V passing the edge and an extension line H on the upper surface of the pipe. |
