PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seamless belt base material that is thin, has characteristics suitable for use as a fixing belt and photoreceptor belt of an image forming device, is easy to produce in large quantities, and is of low cost. SOLUTION: The base material is for the belt which is used in the image forming device. The base material is formed from an extremely thin tube obtained by squeezing a metallic material.
