PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a LAN control system which can use a resume function in a network environment without increasing the load of a server regardless of the absence of operating clients. SOLUTION: In the LAN system where a server 1 and plural clients 2 are connected through a line concentrator (HUB 3), each client 2 has a first sending function which sends resume information indicating whether a resume function can be used or not at the time of connection to the server 1, and the line concentrator is provided with a storage device 5 and a generation means (signal control part 4) which generates a virtual client in the storage device 5 in accordance with resume information.
