[Class 56.] Glassware which shows different colours according to the angle at which it is viewed is made by flashing or casing a coloured glass with at least one other glass of a different colour, the outer layer being wholly or partly transparent to the colour of the inner layer and also to a colour to which the inner layer is opaque. A selenium red glass, for example, can be cased with copper blue glass which is transparent to the red colour of the inner layer, whereas the inner layer is opaque to the blue. |
