PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector enabled to maintain an stable contact between a base board and an elastic contact piece, while avoiding short-circuit and deformation of the elastic piece. SOLUTION: Pushing parts 7, arranged with a prescribed internal on the front and back side of a base board 3, are formed in a base board side housing 1 which houses the base board 3. On the other hand, an elastic contact piece 9, enabled to contact with a foil-shaped terminal part 4 installed on the surface of the base 3, is formed to a terminal metal fittings 5. Contact point parts 21 of the elastic contact piece 9 are made to locate at an retreated position where they can not contact with the terminal part 4 in natural state. When both housings 1, 2 are fitted to each other, the pushing parts 7 push the elastic contact piece 9 toward the base board 3, consequently, the elastic contact piece 9 deforms toward the base board 3, and the contact point parts contact with the terminal part 4.
