PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker where the thickness can considerably be reduced and the low frequency sound characteristic can be enhanced and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A drum film 32 is placed along a side face circumferential edge of a frame main body 31. A resonance chamber 33 is formed between the frame main body 31 and the drum film 32. A through-hole 37 is made in the middle of the bottom of the resonance chamber 33 and a mount base 38 is tightened at the circumferential edge of the through-hole 37. A through-hole 381 whose diameter is similar to that of the through-hole 37 is formed in the middle of the mount base 38. A magnetic unit 35 can be moved and passed through the through-holes 381, 37. When a coil 34 is mounted to the magnetic unit 35 ands excited by an electric field and a magnetism, an attracting or repulsing force is generated to the magnetic unit 35 provided corresponding to the coil 34 in the middle of the drum film 32 due to a change in magnetic lines. Thus, the drum film 32 is vibrated to output sound.
