PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the housing structure of electronic equipment which can be easily assembled and disassembled. SOLUTION: On one end side of an upper case 3, fitted detachably to an opening part 2a of a lower case 2 whose top surface is opened, an engagement piece 3c is projected which can freely engage sideward an engagement hole 2n formed in one side plate 2c of the lower case 2 and on the other end side of the upper case 3, a fitting piece 3d is projected, which is fixed freely to the other side plate 2c of the lower case 2 with a fixture 12; while the upper case 3 is slid about the lowercase 2, the engagement piece 3c projected on the upper case 3 is engaged with the engagement hole 2n of the lower case 2 and then the fitting piece 3d is only fixed to the lower case with the fixture 12, to complete the assembly of the housing body 1. Further, the fixture 12, which fixes the fitting piece 3d is detached and the upper case 3, is slid in a direction reverse to the assembly for disassembling the housing body 1, so the housing body 1 can be assembled and disassembled easily.
