PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fixing a light source unit, with which the light source unit can be positioned accurately and fixed to a light source mounting part. SOLUTION: The structure for fixing a light source unit is for fixing a light source unit 2, which has a laser emission window 3 at the tip part of a unit casing 2, and ahs a circular ring-shaped flange part 5 in the rear end peripheral part at a prescribed position of a light source mounting part 6, by inserting the light source unit 2 into a holding hole 7 of the light source mounting part 6 from its tip part side, and suppressing the flange part 5 of a light source unit 1 from the rear end side with a fixing member 15. In the structure for fixing the light source unit, formed with a notched groove 5a in the outer peripheral part of the flange part 5 and a fitting part 19 which fits into the notched groove 5a to position the light source unit 1 in a fixing member 15, the size of the width of the fitting part 19 increases gradually, from a tip part in an insertion direction to the notched groove 5a toward the rear end part, and the size of the width of the rear end part is larger than the size of the notched groove 5a.
