摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct current plasma display panel for a backlight that can realize high luminance. SOLUTION: A rear substrate 20 is provided with a first groove 21 on the upper face end. The upper face end and a lower face are covered with a first oxide film 22 on the rear substrate 20. An anode electrode plate 30 is provided with a second groove 31 corresponding to the first groove 21 on the lower face end. A second oxide film 32 covering the lower face end and the upper face end is formed on the anode electrode plate 30. The anode electrode plate 30 has plural holes H in the inside, and is separately arranged from an upper part of the rear substrate 20. A sealing frame 40 is fitted in the first groove 21 and the second groove 31, seals the rear substrate 20 and the anode electrode plate. A third oxide film 41 is formed on the outer side face of the sealing frame 40. A front substrate 50 is separately arranged from the upper part of the anode electrode plate 30. Plural spacer 60 between the anode electrode plate 30 and the front substrate 50 keep a space. A seal material 61 seals the anode electrode plate 30 and the end part of the front substrate 50. Discharge gas is respectively sealed in the rear substrate 20, the anode electrode plate 30 and the front substrate 50.
